Gideon and Agnes Pond House

With more than 40 years of experience in Minnesota River Valley history, Rich Williams will explore how the Minnesota fur trade thrived for more than two centuries before the Ponds arrived.

Learn about the region’s role in international big business — from the tales of French Canadian voyageurs and cheap European trade goods, to the currency of the southern Minnesota fur trade: the lowly muskrat.
