Dr. Teresa Peterson, a Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota, will discuss her book Voices from Pejuhutazizi: Dakota Stories and Storytellers. Through five generations at Pejuhutazizi, Peterson’s family has told stories of events, migrations, and relationships in Dakota history, and stories that carry Dakota culture through tales, legends, and myths.
