Learn about the connections between the Dakota and white settlers. Jane Lamm Carroll, PhD is a professor of history and women’s studies. She is the author of the book about Daybreak Woman (Jane Anderson Robertson), who was the daughter of Grey Cloud Woman II (Margaret Aird Anderson) and Thomas Anderson, and also a granddaughter of the fur-trader James Aird and Dakota leader Wabasha I. Please bring a lawn chair, wear a mask, and observe social distancing for this event.
