Sue Hunter Weir will share the story of this prominent pioneer couple. They had ten children, had problems with the in-laws, separated, and got back together. He was killed in August, 1862, and Mary died five years later. For more than 20 years, Sue Hunter Weir has been researching the “residents” of the Minneapolis Pioneers and Soldiers Cemetery where the Prescotts are buried.
