If you enjoyed River Rendezvous in September, don’t miss this chance to experience beautiful Pond Dakota Mission Park in the winter season!
Watch a demonstration of wooden Lacrosse stick-making by Twin Cities Native Lacrosse Director John Hunter, and listen to traditional Dakota stories in a tipi told by Sisokaduta (Joe Bendickson). You’ll be amazed by Scott Crosbie’s Magic Show (noon – 2:00 pm only). Bring your sled or toboggan for a thrilling slide down the hill behind the house, and play Snow Snakes and other frontier games outdoors. Warm up by the bonfire or the fireplace indoors with cookies and cocoa. Free admission and parking.
Limited parking is available in the Pond Dakota Mission Park parking lot. Please do not park along the driveway. Additional free parking is available at Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church or in the Kelly Playfield lot. For more information, call 952-563-8693.
